Mesa Creative Arts Gallery
Mesa Creative Arts founders Brad and Kate Silberberg create works of art and craft in a wide variety of materials.
Brad is a skilled metal artist, sculptor, and blacksmith, working in hot forged and cold worked steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel as well as carved wood and stone, and stained glass. His specialty has been sculptural forged ironwork, including architectrual work like railings and gates, furniture, lighting, fountains, and free standing sculpture.
Kate's talents are in the areas of drawing, painting, beadwork, leatherwork, and ceramics. Her specialties are painted furniture, jewelry beaded with intention, and crafts influenced by Native American culture. Both artists' work strongly reflects their interest in spirituality, healing the planet, ancient cultures, multiculturalism, and making "art that heals."
Kate and Brad have begun to collaborate in their artwork and have greatly influenced each other's work. They support and encourage each other to experiment with and use new materials. Pictured below are just a few examples of their work.
